Canestrelli are the most famous cookies in Liguria. They are round and its middle is often removed. You can be sweet or salted. Its capital is Torriglia (GE), a village in Alta Val Trebbia (high Trebbia Valley), although ubiquitous in Liguria Canestrelli are: Taggia (IM), Isola del Cantone (GE), Brugnato (SP), Avosso (GE), Sassello (SV) , Levanto (SP) ...
